Arts Council England welcomes 183 new National Portfolio Organisations for 2018–2022

English National Opera, Royal Shakespeare Company, Without Walls, Open School East and firstsite are just a few of the 831 National Portfolio Organisations that will be funded by Arts Council England for 2018 to 2022.

There are 183 new organisations named NPOs with 155 new organisations that are outside London, an increase of regional organisations by 4.6% on the 2015-2018 period. This means a total of £1.6 billion will be invested in 844 projects over the next four years, £170 million of which will go to organisations outside of London.

Congratulations to everyone in the NPO list for 2018-2022, and especially to the newly-announced London and regional NPOs. We hope to work with you all on your international ambitions in the coming months. Register with the Culture Diary and let us know your UK and overseas plans.
