The People’s History Museum in Manchester offers a day exploring democracy and equality campaign exhibitions that tell the stories about ‘ideas worth fighting for’; looking a events such as Peterloo to the suffrage movement and campaign for workers rights to the co-operative movement.
Saturday 5 December, 1.00pm – 2.00pm
A fun, interactive workshop about money that explores what we think is valuable or important. Play a series of games with real money, and learn about how money really works. Led by Clare Duffy, the writer and director of theatre shows Money the game show and Play Dough. Family friendly event. Suitable for ages 7-11, accompanied by an adult

The museum’s current exhibition Show Me the Money discovers how the financial world has been imagined in art, illustration and photography from 1700 to the present day and also offers family-friendly activities including family friendly bags, quizzes, dressing up, online apps and much more!
