Ian Doescher, author of The New York Times bestseller William Shakespeare’s Star Wars trilogy is back with his latest Shakespearian Star Wars installation – William Shakespeare’s The Force Doth Awaken.
The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust will be hosting an exclusive evening in conversation with Ian Doescher on 25 October at 5.30pm. Join Ian as he talks about his latest book in the series that re-imagines Star Wars Episode VII as a Shakespearian play, complete with monologues and theatrical stage directions. Very clever, funny, and true to the spirit of the films, this promises to be the perfect evening for Star Wars fans and Shakespeare enthusiasts alike.
Ian Doescher said: “Appearing at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in 2014 was a personal highlight for me as an author and as a Shakespeare fan, it's my Mecca. I am thrilled to be returning to Stratford and appearing at the Trust again this year, and on Saint Crispin's Day, no less. I hope you will join me!”
