Tuesdays and Thursdays | 25 June – 11 July | 6:30pm – 8pm

This course explores the creative processes and methods in designing fashion and textiles using Photoshop, allowing you to present your ideas from inspiration to final concept in a digital format. 

The course covers the following main topics:

    • Create textile motifs and design elements from scanned images, photographs or drawing tools
    • Apply artistic effects and fabrics to scanned fashion illustrations
    • Visualise your ideas, develop colourways and design variations

This course is taught on PCs and is for beginners or for those that have a basic knowledge of Photoshop. The content is suitable for people working in the fashion and/or textiles sector, students, tutors or anyone interested in improving their computer design skills and learning techniques in Photoshop.

Participants are required to have basic computer skills. Please bring a pen, notebook and USB stick to save your work.
