The Portobello Pavilion is getting ready to serve as a pop-up art and design hub for West London
Free showings of art house classics, interactive street art performances, lessons on building your our solar phone charger and the chance to co-create a massive community mural are just some of the free activities that will be hosted at the pop-up community space, the Portobello Pavilion.
The Portobello Pavilion is a community-led participatory art and design hub and events space. This year the Pavilion will be built to a winning design by ArchitectureDoingPlace following a competition run by the Museum of Architecture and a panel of North Kensington-based Creatives.
The space will be open from Tuesday 11 September to Sunday 16 September in historic Powis Square
You can find a full agenda here. This year the programme is headed by a commemoration of Tim Burke, long standing community activist, creator of the Pop-up Cinema and founder of the Portobello Pavilion who tragically died this month.
