Tate galleries reopen

All Tate galleries - Tate Britain, Tate Liverpool, Tate Modern and Tate St Ives - will reopen on 27 July. 

Book a timed ticket in advance - Timed tickets are required to enter our galleries for both the free collections and paid exhibitions. All visitors, including Members, Patrons, Supporters and Corporate Partners, need to book online in advance.

  • Follow the one-way routes - One-way routes and safe distancing guidelines are in place throughout the galleries.
  • Pay with card - We only accept card or contactless payments in the gallery to minimise touchpoints. There are also protective screens in place at all desks.
  • Extra safety measures - Hand sanitiser is available in key areas, along with increased cleaning regimes in toilets and other high use areas. Digital interactive screens have also been turned off to reduce touchpoints.
  • Facilities - Most routes include the option to visit one of our shops. Toilets remain open with increased cleaning regimes. All cloakrooms and lockers are currently closed and so please avoid bringing bulky coats or bags.
