Apply for the Dancers' Hardship Fund for performing professionals

Dance Professionals Fund is still accepting applications for The Dancers’ Hardship Fund for practitioners, supported by Arts Council England.

Who can apply:

  • Professional dancers
  • Support given to freelance dancers across genres including ballet, contemporary, Black and Asian dance and hip hop including those with portfolio careers, e.g. choreography, who whose work would normally include employment in the subsidised dance sector.
  • Applications round dates: 30 April 2020 to 11 May 2020.

Because of demand, you cannot make more than one application to this temporary fund. Please apply only if you are suffering major financial hardship so the organisation can prioritise those most in need.

Applications for this fund are submitted through an online form. Please read the guidelines before applying.

Apply here.

Applicants will need to supply proof of cancellation of work in order to be eligible to claim support.

The organisation encourages you to complete your application online; however, if you prefer, you can download an application form as a PDF or request us to send an application form by post.
