Arts Council England (ACE) wants your input into their draft 2020-2030 strategy now published and out for consultation from 1 July–23 September 2019.
Read Deputy CEO (Arts and Culture) Simon Mellor's blog on the consultation for more background and insight.
The new ten-year strategy will be launched in December 2019, with the strategy itself coming into affect in April 2020. In developing the stratgy, ACE spoke to 5,000 people from artists and curators to librarians and local government staff. After deciding on key issues the strategy could address, a consultation on these went out to the sector and beyond in autumn 2018. The results of this meant refinements to the draft strategy which you can now download and read here.
You may also sign up for a workshop taking place all over the country by signing up to the ACE newsletter, as well as taking part in the consultation online when it opens on Monday 1 July, by going here.
