HRH the Duke of Cambridge and Creative Director of the Southbank Centre, Jude Kelly, launched the International Business Festival 2018 at Lancaster House on 28 September 2017. The Duke of Cambridge announced that he would be patron of the event in Liverpool and attending the biennial event.
The International Business Festival 2018 takes place in Liverpool on nine days between 12 and 28 June 2018. The event will showcase and bring together innovative small to medium UK businesses (SMEs) from around the country across many UK sectors, including creative industries and culture with two specific days for each on 27 and 28 June 2018 respectively.
This year's programme boasts 50 major events, 200 world-class speakers and nine high-growth industry themes, as well as plenty of opportunities for companies to do business.
HRH the Duke of Cambridge said: "I have had the opportunity in the past to experience the GREAT campaign, which Conrad heads, promoting some of the UK’s most innovative and ambitious companies at exhibitions in China, Japan and the US. When meeting the people behind the small and medium sized companies at these events, I am always struck by the ingenuity, drive and commitment on display. Enterprises like these are the engines of the British economy. The International Business Festival has a vital role to play in providing the support and connections they need to grow."This is an important event for the sector and we are delighted to announce that we will be representing culture and creative industries at the festival next year on 27 June (Creative Industries) and 28 June (Sport, Culture & Travel), so please contact us to register your interest.
