You’re invited to meet the Culture Diary team at this year’s 10th anniversary of Sound City Music Conference and Festival. We’re hosting a reception for Sound City+ delegates on Friday 26 May at 3pm to 4.15pm at one of our favourite venues in Liverpool, Constellations.
This is a chance to network with over 300 international delegates at Sound City+ and enjoy musical entertainment from AbiChan, a new band featuring Abi Harding of The Zutons, The Sneaky Nixons, and the Bongo Club, while we'll be bringing Tinrdumm and Plastic for the reception itself.
The Culture Diary will be at Camp and Furnace throughout the morning and afternoon on Friday so you can meet us and register with the Culture Diary while attending inspiring talks by the likes of Don Letts, Andrew Weatherall and Peaches.
Our very own Culture Diary lead, Anna Maloney, will also be sharing her knowledge on creating creative industry showcases, festivals and events on ‘The No Nonsense Guide to Putting On A Festival’ seminar 1.15pm at Blade Factory, highlighting the importance of festivals with other industry experts, sharing their tips, tricks and insider information from PR to Production, to booking talent, among other advice on global festival management.
Sound City returns on 26 to 28th May for its 10th anniversary, featuring the best in live music, art and culture. Along with its music festival, it hosts an industry conference programme for Sound City+ on 26th May with an intensive programme of speakers, T.E.D-style talks, debates, workshops and the acclaimed Sound City+ marketplace, that will feature the cream of the UK’s and international independent record labels.
