National Lottery project grants are back for individual practitioners, libraries and museums

National Lottery Project Grants, run by Arts Council England, has been reopened from 22 July with a budget of £59.8 million available until April 2021. It will be open to all individual artists, community and cultural organisations to support arts, museums and libraries projects.

The fund has changed to be more responsive to the needs of smaller independent organisations and individual practitioners during COVID-19.

  • Supporting individual practitioners
  • No need for 10% match funding for now
  • Public Libraries will now be able to apply for activity that aligns with any of the four Universal Library Offers
  • Museums can now apply to National Lottery Project Grants for Subject Specialist Network activity. We’ll also accept applications from a wider range of applicants for any activity that benefits at least one Accredited museum, its collections and its visitors
