National Theatre Wales is supporting Welsh and national Creative Development

National Theatre Wales has launched six strands of support and development for artists and new work with the aim of contributing to a thriving creative arts sector across Wales.

The six strands are:

Emerging Producers & Directors – supported by Jerwood Charitable Foundation, those with little professional experience will be given support and a chance to develop their skills

Professional Development Labs – for artists share ideas, practice and process in the same space.

Huddles – for artists living and working in Wales to gain insight and knowledge from each other, National Theatre Wales staff, other artists and key arts organisations.

Located Residencies – supported by Jerwood Charitable Foundation, for emerging and mid-career artists and companies to explore new ideas in a particular location or community, especially in North East or West Wales, BAME or individuals with specific needs.

NTW Camps – intensive residencies designed by National Theatre Wales bringing together diverse people with different experience levels and backgrounds, with a focus on new performance ideas and unexpected collaborations.

Commissioning and research & development for National Theatre Wales's own programme is also available.
