Papatango Theatre Company wants monologues on any topic for their Isolated But Open project

Papatango Theatre Company is offering 20 chosen artists the chance for their monologues to be performed as part of their Isolated But Open project in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. Each chosen artist will receive £100 for their winning submission.

How to apply:

  • Pen a monologue of up to 5 minutes (2–4 pages) on any topic - submit only one monologue per entrant.
  • Papatango Theatre Company will pick ten and pay £100 for each.
  • The company will cast ten actors to self-film these for £100 each.
  • The films will be shared online for free so everyone, wherever they are, can enjoy new writing.
  • Monologues will be assessed anonymously so make sure there is no name included in the document you submit.
  • Writers will be contacted by email.
  • Deadline is midnight 31 March 2020.
