The Design Museum, The Mary Rose Museum, and Science Museum are the three UK museums nominated for the European Museum of the Year Award (EMYA) 2018.
The shortlist includes 40 museums from all across the continent which includes three from Italy, three from Finland and four from Switzerland. The full list of nominees can be found here.
The announcement of the winners will take place at the EMYA Award Ceremony during the Annual Assembly of the European Museum Forum, from 9–12 May 2018 in Warsaw, Poland. The venue is POLIN – Museum of the History of Polish Jews which was awarded the EMYA in 2016.
