UN Climate Change Conference Comes to Glasgow in 2020

In November 2020, the UK will be hosting the 26th UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow at the SEC. This follows the Chile / Madrid co-hosted event taking place this December.

This is a huge opportunity for the UK to showcase our role as a world leader in tackling climate change and we are expecting around 30,000 delegates and 190 heads of state.

The COP26 team want to use this platform to engage the public and businesses around climate change. We’re keen to hear what events and activities cultural organisations have planned around climate change in 2020 so that we can coordinate and involve you in our plans. Upload your events (confirmed or pencilled) to the Culture Diary and tag them in the major event Year of Climate Action 2020.
