A four-year international programme for disabled performing artists, with funding of €4 million, has been established to support their work in Europe. Led by British Council, Europe Beyond Access includes a €2m grant from Creative Europe, and will include six other main partners across the continent.

18–35 year old artists organisations and collectives from the UK and some East African countries can apply to collaborate with international artists showcase their work together. Up to £30,000 could be allocated for each project with a maximum of five projects for 2018.
Arts Education Exchange launched a Spacehive crowdfunding campaign to raise £37,569 to transform a disused building, with a bold new design envisioned by architects, Studio Octopi. Supported by Turner Contemporary, Dreamland and Tracey Emin the funding will allow this community organisation to refurbish the building and install a professional recording studio and video editing suite.
PRS Foundation revealed its five-year independent evaluation of the Momentum Music Fund at the Brighton Great Escape Festival in May 2018, including that it has supported 273 artists and has generated over £13 million for the British music industry.
Momentum provides career-boosting grants of £5,000–£15,000 to acts at a pivotal time in their creative and business development. Artists based anywhere in the whole of the UK, working in any style of contemporary popular music can apply for Momentum funding to support activities such as recording, touring and marketing.
QuestLab Network is a new artist development initiative funded by Arts Council England’s Ambition for Excellence programme. QuestLab Network will create a new network of dance artists, developers, technologists and commercial organisations, leading to the development and delivery of performance and engagement projects around the country.
