Official statistics released on 30 November 2017 reveal that the UK Creative Industries added £91.8 billion to the country's economy in 2016, around £10.5m per hour. The contribution of the sector rose by 7.6 per cent, twice the average growth across the economy by Gross Added Value, and now make up 5.3% of the UK economy.
